We almost missed this entry on the Bookish Calendar, but in our defence, we kind of thought every day was world book day…
Audiopuzzling
Audiobooks have been surging in popularity and sales have been increasing for the past eight years. I started listening to them four years ago and ADORE them! Audiobooks have saved my recreational reading and allow me to “read” voraciously before and after putting in full work days. I listen to audiobooks when I take care of household chores and when I am driving. And I have been a casual audiopuzzler for the past two years.
Small Press Saturday: Fairwood Press
We are travelling south of the Canadian border this week for Small Press Saturday with a look at Fairwood Press. Most of the presses we look at every Saturday will be Canadian, but Patrick Swenson, publisher at Fairwood, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, and definitely qualifies as an honourary Canadian.
