Happy Birthday to “The Man who Invented the Future”

Verne-WP1.JPG

Born on this day in 1828, Jules Gabriel Verne is considered by many to be one of the parents of modern day science fiction literature. Written originally in French, his works are the second-most translated of any in history, behind only Agatha Christie and with Shakespeare running a close third.*

As we have for many of our titles, our collection includes various versions and editions of these foundational works.

Happy Birthday, Jules!
