Just wanted to do a quick share of one of the Butterflies & Aliens Library’s latest acquisitions, Life Beyond Us, edited by Julie Nováková, Lucas K. Law, and Susan Forest, and published by Laksa Media Group in partnership with the European Astrobiology Institute.
An anthology of 27 original science fiction stories paired with 27 new science essays, all on the theme of extraterrestrial life, Life Beyond Us is the latest anthology from Laksa Media Group, whom we’ve profiled here before.
Funded through a Kickstarter campaign back in May 2021, these editions are the Limited Edition hardcover and ‘Kickstarter Edition’ trade paperback from that campaign. Street editions land April 22, 2023, but are available for pre-order now.
Life Beyond Us joins five previous LMG anthologies on our shelves, and we can’t wait to dig into this latest one!
