PLO 3: Critical Thinking & Evaluation

Students will possess the skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to evaluate and improve library and information systems and services.

For this PLO, I’ve chosen a tried and true tool of librarianship as my artifact, the library guide or libguide for short. These guides encapsulate the kind of critical thinking and evaluation of resources that librarians can be called upon to do on a regular basis.

Coming out of LIS 503 Reference and Information Services, this pdf libguide provides an introduction to the use of maps as a source of information.
